COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT)
This program is a wonderful addition to our Manners and Tea Camp and geared specifically for older campers who feel they have grown out of the normal camp but still enjoy the tearoom (11 years and older).
As CITs, they take a more active leadership role in learning effective ways to interact with younger children, help with set up, cleanup and transitioning between crafts and activities. They have a behind the scenes view of camp and become part a valued part of our TEAm. CITs receive advanced training in the art of etiquette and social graces while also enjoying a spot of tea and all the other fun aspects of camp.
Mrs. B often takes the CITs off-site, with parental permission, to a coffee shop or nearby café to develop more advanced approach to the skills we teach and model as well as review their progress and performance.
Please register your child for camp as you would normally but in the notes section mention you are registering as a CIT. We will offer no more than two CIT position per week.
